Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in Augmentative and Alternative Communication/Assistive Technology (AAC/AT) is needed to support students with extensive special needs in a K-12 school setting. This position involves working with students from kindergarten through middle school across three classrooms at two different school sites in Berkeley, CA. The role is a contract position for the current school year (CSY).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students with complex communication needs
  • Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans utilizing AAC/AT strategies
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to promote effective communication and learning
