Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role is for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services within a K-12 school setting. The position supports students across multiple buildings in Porter Township, focusing on both applied skills and general education students. The assignment runs from mid-January through the end of May, with standard weekday hours. Location: Porter Township, near Valparaiso, IN Assignment Duration: January 15, 2026 May 28, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 80 students across three school buildings (K-12) Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students, including those with applied skills and general education needs Manage and split caseload effectively across multiple school sites Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Monitor progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed Qualifications: Professional certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Indiana Experience working within school settings, particularly K-12 Strong ability to manage a diverse caseload including general and applied skills students Excellent communication and organizational skills This contract position provides an opportunity to work directly within the educational community, facilitating student growth and communication development in a supportive environment.
