Speech Therapist

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (teachers, therapists, parents) to assess, plan, and provide therapeutic interventions that support students' access to the general education curriculum.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.

Develop and implement individualized plans (IETPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that the speech therapy services are aligned with their educational goals.

Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based methods to improve communication skills.

Utilize various techniques and tools (e.g., visual supports, AAC devices, play-based therapy) to support language development.

Work with students on developing skills for communication, both verbal and non-verbal, through structured interventions and naturalistic teaching.
