**Overview**
GovCIO is currently hiring foran SQL Database Administrator. This position will be located in Glynco, GA, and will bean onsite position with flexible telework potential.
**Responsibilities**
• Manages database design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Provide design and implementation of software and databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or newer.
**Qualifications**
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 - 8 years of equivalent experience in computer science, system analysis or a related field
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in design and implementation of software and databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and/or newer.
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must pass a Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working with DHS and/or FLETC
• Master’s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related field
