Role Overview 

This is a Fully Remote work option. We are seeking skilled SQL Developers to join our Text2SQL project team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SQL experience with the ability to understand complex data models and translate business requirements into efficient SQL code that captures business context accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic
• Analyse and understand existing data models and database schemas
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
• Translate business requirements into SQL code that accurately reflects business logic
• Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL code
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of SQL implementations
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards
• Debug and optimise SQL queries for performance improvement
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions
• Support testing activities and resolve data-related issues

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on SQL development experience
• Proficiency in at least 2-3 SQL dialects, such as

Databricks SQL

T-SQL (SQL Server)

PL/SQL (Oracle)

MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS platforms

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling
• Ability to read and interpret complex data models and ERDs
• Experience translating business requirements into SQL logic
• Solid experience with joins, subqueries, window functions, and advanced SQL concepts
• Experience with data transformation and aggregation techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
• Understanding of data quality and validation techniques

Offer Details:

• Commitments Required: 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST. Employment type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)
• Duration of contract: 12 months; (expected start date is next week)
• Salary: INR 65-70K take-home/net salary
