SQL Systems Analyst

Description

· Experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business

· Hands on experience in Advanced Excel.

· SDLC / Agile methodology experience.

· Over 3 years of data analysis

· Familiarity with the general concepts of optimization and performance tuning of SQL statements.

· Familiarity with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)

· Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills

· Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.

· Being comfortable working in a distributed teams environment

· Strong problem solving skills

· Bachelor’s degree in either computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or statistics

· Experience in financial services industry, specifically in Capital Markets and Treasury

· Experience with Big Data and NoSQL databases (Hadoop/HBase/Spark) and Spark SQL
