We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. This will be a short term contract role to cover a desk while they find a full time hire.
Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Execute month-end close procedures, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are complete.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconcile balances across entities.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including check runs and payment approvals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance.
• Generate and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
