Job Description Job Description Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant for a client in the western suburbs. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller. The Senior Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss and other related financial activities for the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization. •Prepares monthly financials, reports, and schedules. •Reconciles balance sheet accounts. •Prepares monthly journal entries. •Posts intercompany transactions, journal entries and balances intercompany accounts •Reconciles bank accounts daily. •Reviews A/R and performs collection duties. •Provides support for outside auditors; gather necessary account information and backup documentation for quarterly and annual audit. •Participates in quarterly inventory process with production. •Follows US GAAP accounting practices and proc...
