Job Description
**Overview**
The Microsoft Corporate Fixed Asset team is responsible for the reporting accuracy of over $200 billion in assets for U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). As a member of the Corporate Accounting Fixed Asset team this individual contributor is responsible for policy governance, SOX compliance, and financial reporting related to property and equipment in the Company's Form 10-Q and 10-K in accordance with ASC 360.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepares and reviews fixed asset accounting records in compliance with accounting policies and guidelines. Interprets reports and records for managers/stakeholders. Investigates and resolves business partner inquiries, accounting deviations, and other data anomalies. Drives analysis based on data trends.
