Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer-Laser Welding

Job Description:

Under the direction of and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Advanced Manufacturing Technology, leverage expertise in laser welding to deliver NPD roadmap project needs, and be technical resource for broadly across the business.

This position works in a team environment and uses engineering expertise and abilities to contribute to the development and manufacturing of industry leading brushless motors, battery packs, battery cells, and other power tool applications.

Specific duties include:

Manufacturing Process Development:

• Advanced experience laser welding equipment and process

  • Understanding of laser welding industry landscape, laser hardware, laser process development, in-process controls, and laser welding quality inspection
