Sr. AI Support Engineer

Role: Sr. AI Support Engineer # of Position: 1 Location: Bangalore/Pune/ Vadodra/ Chennai/ Hyderabad Shift Hours: 7:00PM to 4:00AM IST Summary The Senior AI Support Engineer ensures high availability, reliability, and success of the Agentic AI platform in production. This role acts as the bridge between customers, AI engineering, and platform operations. Key Responsibilities Provide production support for AI applications and services. Diagnose AI-specific issues such as incorrect agent routing, degraded responses, hallucinations, latency, or tool failures. Strong knowledge in Azure AI (Functions, Web App, Azure Document Intelligence, Open AI Foundry) Monitor AI system health: response quality, token usage, throughput, cost anomalies. Analyze logs, traces, prompts, embeddings, and retrieval results to identify root causes. Ensure SLA compliance and continuous service improvement. Optimize AI workloads for performance, cost, and scalability. Perform model training, continuous retraining, and fine-tuning of LLM systems using production data, feedback loops Required Skills & Experience 812 years in Application Support / Platform Support with Azure & AI background. Strong experience in Azure cloud services, APIs, and microservices. Understanding of LLMs, prompts, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration. Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (App Insights, Azure Monitor). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell).

8–12 years in QA/Test Engineering with 3+ years in AI/ML or GenAI systems. Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, and agent frameworks. Experience with test automation tools (Cypress / JMeter / or equivalent). Exposure to responsible AI, red-teaming, and model risk management. Python scripting for AI test automation.
