Sr Application Security Engineer

Job title: Sr Application Security Engineer Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship Required; Active Public Trust or ability to obtain DHS suitability Job description: Provides expertise in secure coding, threat modelling, and vulnerability management, while also mentoring teams and promoting a culture of security across the organization. The Lead Application Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring security, integrity, and compliance in systems, applications and services within DHS. This role involves leading efforts to design, implement, and maintain secure application architectures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and driving security best practices across the agency. The Lead Application Security Engineer shall have a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in application security, software development, or related roles and have experience with RPA and automation tools, as well as integration of security into CI/CD pipelines.
