We’re hiring Sr Backend Developer in India. It's 100% Remote role. Note: 4 hours-5 hours overlap required PST hours.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
Build reactive applications using Spring Web Flux and Project Reactor.
Architect and implement event-driven systems using Kafka and Azure Event Hub.
Collaborate with Dev Ops to deploy and monitor services in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Develop APIs that are secure, reliable, and optimized for high throughput.
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability (observability, tracing, logging).
Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Boot, Web, Data).
Strong knowledge of Spring Web Flux and reactive programming (Project Reactor).
Production experience with Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Kafka Streams).
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS, or Azure Event Hub and Azure SDKs.
Experience building distributed systems that are performant and highly available.
Proficient in REST API development, asynchronous programming, and non-blocking I/O.
Familiar with MST (Microservices Testing) strategies, including contract testing, mocking, and test containers.
Strong knowledge of system design, including load balancing, caching, partitioning, and data flow optimization.
Familiar with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
Preferred Skills
Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins).
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Knowledge of both AWS and Azure is a strong plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a passion for learning and applying new technologies.
