Sr Backend Engineer (Node.js)

This is a hybrid role in Pilar (2 days at the office)

We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer to help build the future of engineering operations for one of our clients. You will work on a data platform that unifies engineering data across the software development lifecycle, enabling leaders to gain a single, actionable view of their organizations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with backend services, data infrastructure, and cloud-based production systems, and enjoys collaborating in a highly distributed, international environment.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or Python.

• Experience designing and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid experience building and running web services, data pipelines, and backend systems in production.
• Strong database fundamentals, including SQL and/or NoSQL. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
