Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a part -time highly experienced Senior Backend Software Developer with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence. This individual will support one of the world’s leading athleisure brands and may be based in either the or Canada.

With 8+ years of backend software development experience, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering multiple AI-driven initiatives across the organization. This role involves partnering closely with eight cross-functional teams to guide, develop, and execute 10–12 AI proof-of-concepts (POCs) from ideation through implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of professional experience as a Backend Software Developer.

Advanced expertise with modern AI ecosystems, including platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, GPT-based models, and Hugging Face.

Strong proficiency in backend technologies and programming languages, with a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and scalable system design.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Microsoft Azure
