Sr. Buyer

Fender Musical Instruments (FMI) is looking for a Sr. Buyer for our Ensenada, Mexico location. In this role, you will be responsible for purchase materials from approved and qualified suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent material shortages, negotiate prices and provide competitive bidding procedures when necessary to ensure the lowest cost for specific materials, assist the purchasing manager in designing and launching request-for-quotations (RFQ) or request-for-proposals (RFP) for assigned materials, and analyze and evaluate quotations submitted by potential suppliers to ensure the quality, quantity, delivery, terms and cost are acceptable.
