Sr. Co-pilot Studio Consultant

We at Saxon infosystems, seeking an experienced Senior Copilot Studio Developer to join our team and lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions using

Microsoft Copilot Studio. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience, with a deep specialization in building intelligent copilot agents, integrating them with various Microsoft

services (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure),and enhancing business processes.

This role requires a blend of strong development skills, conversational design expertise, and a passion for leveraging the latest AI capabilities to create seamless and effective user experiences, while adhering to Responsible AI principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade virtual agents (copilots) using Microsoft Copilot Studio, integrating seamlessly with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) ecosystems.
• Architect custom actions, generative AI plugins, and backend orchestrations using Power Automate flows, Power Apps custom connectors, and Azure services to enable copilots for complex data interactions across Dataverse and external APIs.
• Design advanced conversational AI experiences with NLU tuning, dynamic topics, entity extraction, adaptive cards from Power Apps, and handover protocols to Canvas/Model-Driven Apps or live agents.
• Build Agentic AI frameworks with multi-agent collaboration, reasoning loops, and autonomous workflows, leveraging Power Automate process mining and AI Builder for multi-step decision-making.
• Deploy copilots across omnichannel experiences including Teams, Power Apps portals, mobile Canvas Apps, Dynamics 365, and custom Power Pages websites.
• Partner with stakeholders, BAs, and Power Platform devs to translate business needs into scalable copilot designs, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps integrations, and automated flows.
• Drive performance excellence through analytics in Copilot Studio and Power Platform Admin Center, optimizing transcripts, session metrics, and integrating with Power BI for insights.
• Oversee ALM for copilot and Power Apps solutions using Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD for Canvas/Model-Driven deployments, and environment strategies across Power Platform.
• Champion Responsible AI with Purview governance, bias detection in NLU/AI Builder, privacy controls in Power Automate/Dataverse, and secure Canvas App integrations.
• Mentor teams on senior-level Copilot Studio patterns, Power Apps extensibility (PCF/components), Power Automate best practices, and cross-platform optimizations.
• Author technical roadmaps, architecture docs, and integration blueprints for copilots, Power Apps, and Automate flows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years in software development, with 3+ years leading Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents) and Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Expert in Copilot Studio for GenAI copilots, including advanced prompting, grounding (Azure AI Search/Graph), multi-turn conversations, and Power Apps adaptive card integrations.
• Deep experience building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, with Power FX logic, custom datasources, and seamless copilot embeddings/handovers.
• Advanced Power Automate expertise for copilots: desktop/cloud flows, AI Builder models, RPA, and custom actions integrating with Canvas/Model-Driven Apps.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/C# for custom code units, Azure Functions, PCF controls in Power Apps, and REST/SOAP API orchestration.
• Strong Azure ecosystem knowledge (Bot Service, Cognitive Services, OpenAI) and Dataverse for copilot/Power Apps data layers.
• Proven ALM mastery with Power Platform CLI, solution management, Azure DevOps pipelines for copilots, Canvas/Model-Driven Apps deployments.
• Expertise in AI governance, DLP policies, Responsible AI in Copilot Studio/AI Builder, and security across Power Automate/Power Apps.
• (Preferred) Microsoft certifications: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Solution Architect), AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer), Copilot Studio specialist.
