Cobol Developer Job Description:



  • Must have Cobol Development experience as well as DB2 and JCL experience.

  • The person in this position would be working with a detailed and organized subject matter expert on my team.
  • The SME would have a specification document ready on the candidate's first day.
  • The candidate would be expected to create a new batch COBOL DB2 process that would extract information from the membership database.
  • Once the data is extracted, the information would more than likely need to be altered or manipulated before putting it in file that will be sent to a 3rd party.
  • The candidate would need to complete extensive testing before implementing the solution.
