**Designation:** Manager Consulting – Warehouse Management
**Work Experience:** **8-10** years.
**Responsibility:**
**Business Consulting:**
· Strong domain knowledge in warehouse management coupled with good hands-on experience with any WMS ERP such as SAP EWM, Oracle, BY, Manhattan etc.
· Should understand end to end warehouse operations including (but not limited to) pick, pack, dispatch, putaway, replenishment, returns, automations, integrations, wave planning, etc.
· Lead AS IS assessment and TO-BE design discussions with clients & identify process gaps & opportunities for optimization, automation and standardization.
· Lead business consulting engagements specializing in warehouse operations, supply chain management as well as provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.
· Work with technical teams to create FSDs, configuration guidelines, integration specs etc.
· Serve as an intermediary between the client business and the solution team to convert business requirements into IT solutions.
· Support client partners and CRMs in preparing responses to proposals (RFP/RFI) , Go-To-Market strategies to expand business opportunities.
· Develop thought leadership in supply chain management and logistics through white papers, webinars, and connections with analysts.
**Other requirements (good to have)** :
· In addition to warehousing, prior experience in at least one area—planning, sourcing & procurement, or transportation.
· Project management experience.
· Understanding or experience of agile methodologies concepts.
· Experience with at least one WMS platform.
· Demonstrated proficiency in communication and presentation in client-facing roles.
· Previous employment experience with any Tier-1 management consulting firm.
· Knowledge of industry, research, or benchmarking resources in relevant fields.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Sense of accountability and a constructive approach.
