Job Description Job Description Senior Controls Engineer – Job Description Overview The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for leading the design, programming, testing, and support of industrial control systems used in automated machinery. This role works closely with mechanical, electrical, and service teams to ensure equipment operates reliably, efficiently, and according to customer expectations. The position includes a blend of engineering design, hands?on troubleshooting, and project support both in?house and at customer sites when required. Key Responsibilities Engineering & System Design Design and implement PLC?based control systems for automated industrial equipment. Update and review wiring diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, and related technical documentation. Program and optimize PLC, HMI, motion, and drive systems (Allen Bradley required; Siemens preferred). Integrate sensors, drives, and control components into complete machine systems.
