Job Description Job Description Omaha area applicants only – No Relocation - Must work on-site* Our client is seeking a Data Engineer for their growing, data-focused organization to take ownership of their modern data infrastructure, help lead best practices, and mentor junior engineers. This opportunity is on-site. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of robust data pipelines and architectures. You will play a critical role in data modeling, transformation logic, governance, and enabling high-quality, actionable insights across the business. This position demands a deep understanding of SQL and Python , strong cloud experience, and a strategic mindset around data scalability, reliability, and performance. Sponsorship is NOT available for this opportunity No contract options Key Responsibilities Architect and maintain scalable, reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and advanced SQL Develop and optimize data models, warehouse schemas, and partitioning strategies Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to technical design decisions Establish best practices for data quality, observability, and governance Interface with data science, analytics, and product teams to understand requirements Ensure high availability and performance of data platforms and workflows Lead initiatives around infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and IaC for data systems Drive adoption of modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift) Apply Please submit your resume to [email protected].
