**Typical Accountabilities**
- Responsible for the 24/7 support of **Oracle or MSSQL** production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by the business systems.
- Monitoring
- Backup & Restore
- Database Installation, Creation
- User Creation
- Data Copy
- Data Migration
- High availability (RAC for Oracle & Always On for MSSQL)
- Performance Tuning
- Patching
- Disaster Recovery Setup** Essential**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 to 7 years Operational experience in Either **Oracle or MSSQL**:
- Strong Experience in managing Incidents, Problems, changes and capacity management aspects.
- Demonstrated ability handling large number of incidents via. Any ITSM tool
- An ability to work effectively in a matrix organization is essential.
