Title:

Sr. Designer - Structural

Job Summary:

Onshore Designer to support our engineering and design team in delivering high-quality 3D and 2D design solutions for onshore oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in layout and detailing using S3D, E3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation , with a proven track record of working on multidisciplinary design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update 3D models and 2D drawings for piping, structural, and equipment layouts.
  • Interpret and apply engineering specifications, P&IDs, and project standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure design consistency and clash-free models.
  • Generate fabrication, construction, and as-built drawings.
  • Perform model reviews and participate in design coordination meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Maintain drawing records and revision control throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience in onshore design projects.
  • Proficient in S3D (Smart 3D) and/or E3D (AVEVA Everything3D) .
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation .
  • Familiarity with onshore plant design standards and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or utility projects.
  • Knowledge of PDMS or other 3D design tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to construction or fabrication environments.
