The Role:

The Mission

Own our automation stack end-to-end. You’ll design, build, and maintain the workflows that turn raw data into revenue, insight, and client wins—freeing the team to coach, sell, and create.


What You’ll Do

  • Design & build small, fast services (Python/TypeScript) that power lead routing, scoring, enrichment, reporting, and AI features.
  • Embed AI where it makes sense: structured outputs, function‑calling, RAG, agents for targeted tasks (not “AI for everything”).
  • Integrate apps & data: GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Fireflies, Stripe, Xero/QuickBooks, Clearbit/Dropcontact—via webhooks & REST APIs.
  • Operational excellence: add retries, queues, idempotency keys, observability, tests, and docs so things keep working at 2am.
  • Keep low‑code honest: replace brittle Zap/Make flows with code when scale/complexity demands it; keep simple wins in n8n/Make.

  • Core: n8n / Make / Zapier, GoHighLevel, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana
  • AI: OpenAI API, ChatGPT, Claude
  • Anything with an API
  • Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js

Ideal Profile:

Must‑haves

  • Strong coding in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Built and deployed FastAPI/Express services, Postgres/SQL, Redis/queues, Docker, CI/CD.
  • API craftsmanship: OAuth2, pagination, rate limits, webhooks, schema design, versioning.
  • LLM production: OpenAI/Claude/Gemini APIs, structured outputs, tool/function calling, prompt/version control, cost/latency logging.
  • Retrieval: embeddings + vector stores (pgvector/Pinecone/Weaviate), basic eval + guardrails.
  • Testing & reliability: unit tests, contract tests, error budgets, alerting.
