Job Summary
Responsible for upholding QC standards of quality control checks for all
customer-facing content and validating backend data for tracking dynamic
content or audience targeting. Has advanced knowledge of brand standards,
Associated Press (AP) or Modern Language Association (MLA), and is excellent
in proofreading, copy editing, copywriting, and grammar for our internal
Teams and Agency Partners. Primary job tasks include executing the quality
control checklist, proofreading, identifying opportunities for process
improvement, coaching team members, and ensuring a zero-error rate for
communications.
Responsibilities
Uphold the highest standards of Customer facing assets by applying
extensive knowledge and best-practices of Quality Control discipline.
Use advanced QC experience, consult with other teams within the
department to advocate recommendations for quality control
procedures and standards.
Execute quality control of provided content, including, but not limited
to, direct mail, social media, emails, web pages, push notifications,
promotions, and advertising; reviews target audience data to ensure
accurate segmentation.
Implement process and execute quality control of provided accessibility
QC testing standards for digital channels, including full site and mobile
website and apps.
Follow process and best practices for functional testing for websites and
mobile apps, including validating data, hyperlink functionality,responsive design, CSS media queries and breakpoints, flexible grids, and responsive typography.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions,
or approaches to problems and search for and seize opportunities to do
more or to do things better
Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work, completing
work with a sense of urgency.
Express ideas, business or technical requirements clearly and concisely in
writing using appropriate levels of summary and synthesis on a regular
and consistent basis
Monitor project risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level
of priority, visibility and escalation
Is adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advance knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
Advance knowledge of quality assurance tools and documentation, such
as Adobe Campaign, MRM, Wrike, WinMerge, Microsoft Word, Excel,and Snagit
Ability to test digital channels – mobile-first websites and mobile apps,including web and native iOS and Android apps – using cross-browsertools and app emulators such as BrowserStack and Google, Safari, and Firefox web inspectors
Ability to detail, commitment to accuracy, and exceptional organizational skills.
Advance knowledge of data management, email, and web content
executional processes
Skilled in partnering, communication, negotiation skills, and execution in working with various Technology, Marketing, Digital Experience, or Customer Experience Teams and/or external partners
Ability to work effectively in a strong Customer service/team oriented environment.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and widely varied work streams/tasks
Ability to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or
project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work; able to mentor others to do the same.
Ability to develop, present and effectively communicate ideas and
strategies to a variety of audiences
Ability to teach and mentor others concerning technical and business
subjects

Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Bachelor's degree.
Experience
Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in
proofreading, copywriting, copyediting, or quality assurance
Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge with
established style guides, such as the Associated Press (AP) or Modern
Language Association (MLA)
Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge with
Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in data
validation
