Position Type: Full-timeCompensation: $ 107,750 - $141,675, based on experienceLocation: Hybrid: Experity offers team members the flexibility to work remotely while staying connected in person. This position requires you to live within a commutable distance from one of our offices and be available to work onsite as needed for collaboration and team engagement/collaboration. Position Overview: The Sr. Director of Business Development is a highly strategic, externally facing executive responsible for driving new revenue, competitive displacement, market expansion, and enterprise adoption of Care Agent and Experity’s Patient Engagement platform. This leader acts as the tip of the spear for Experity's Patient Engagement strategy, shaping executive-level conversations, identifying and unlocking high-value opportunities, and partnering across Sales, Product, CS, and Marketing to accelerate adoption. The Sr. Director plays a critical role in dislodging competitive solutions, expanding Experity's presence across urgent care networks and adjacent verticals, and ensuring Care Agent becomes the industry standard for digital patient experience. Responsibilities: Strategic Growth & Market Development Serve as Experity’s executive-level SME and evangelist for all Patient Engagement and Care Agent capabilities. Identify, shape, and develop new revenue opportunities in large urgent care networks, health systems, and emerging verticals. Build and lead strategies that position Experity as the preferred digital front-door platform. Consult with C-level executives to influence vision, digital transformation goals, and enterprise strategy. Install Base Expansion & Enterprise Activation Partner with Customer Success, Strategic Accounts, and Sales leadership to expand Care Agent across existing customers. Develop and execute enterprise rollout strategies driving multi-clinic, system-wide activation. Translate operational workflows into value-based recommendations that drive measurable adoption and usage. Use engagement and usage data to identify and unlock expansion pathways. Competitive Displacement Leadership Lead the competitive takeover strategy targeting Solv and other engagement platforms. Build compelling narratives, ROI business cases, and executive-level presentations that support conversion. Partner with Sales leadership to close competitive displacement deals and protect Experity's install base. Go-to-Market & Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with the VP of Commercialization to refine messaging, GTM plays, and PE growth motions. Contribute to Care Agent skill commercialization, launch strategies, and skill adoption campaigns. Provide market insights, buyer feedback, and competitive intelligence that influence strategy, roadmap inputs, and GTM execution. Field Enablement & Leadership Train Sales and CS on competitive strategy, value drivers, and positioning frameworks. Develop executive-caliber collateral, talk tracks, and strategic narratives used across the organization. Mentor and guide BD specialists (current or future) to support scale. Pipeline, Forecast & Performance Own strategic BD pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression. Track performance metrics tied to adoption, usage expansion, revenue impact, and competitive wins. Regularly present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10 years in business development, enterprise SaaS, or strategic growth roles. Proven success influencing C-suite buyers and driving enterprise expansion. Experience: Extensive experience in healthcare, patient engagement, digital health, or operational transformation required. Demonstrated success in competitive displacement, preferably in fast-moving or fragmented markets. Strong ability to connect product, operations, clinical workflows, and business outcomes. Travel: Ability to travel as needed.
