What You'll Do You will lead the design, execution, and continuous optimization of Avalara’s internal seller and partner commission programs while managing and developing a global commissions team across the and India that supports both GTM and Partner ecosystems. As a strategic leader in Avalara’s operational transformation, you will build scalable, transparent, and automated commission processes, working closely with Revenue Operations, Partner Ops, Sales Leadership, and Finance to ensure clarity, alignment, and accuracy across plans and payouts. You will own the commissions system infrastructure—primarily Xactly—advancing automation, integration, reporting, and process efficiency, while overseeing the monthly commissions cycle with a focus on reducing cycle time and minimizing support tickets.
