Pismo seeks an accomplished Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead Pismo's product solutions within Visa Acceptance Solutions. This role oversees a cross‑functional engineering team responsible for end‑to‑end product delivery, spanning app frontends to cloud and hybrid cloud backends. The Senior Director acts as a servant leader, driving team performance, fostering growth, and ensuring the scalable evolution of the Acceptance Devices offering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Strategy: Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for highly scalable, distributed systems. Ensure solutions align with Visa’s business objectives and meet standards for quality, uptime, usability, scalability, reliability, and security. Serve as an expert in EMV and in‑person payments, mentoring teams on payment technologies.
