Sr. Electrical Engineer (ECAD)

Overview

In this role, you will lead the electrical hardware design of complex automation machinery from concept to completion. You'll work closely with mechanical designers, controls engineers, and production teams to develop high-quality, standards-compliant electrical systems that meet customer specifications and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical hardware systems for automated packaging machinery.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Select appropriate components including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, power supplies, safety devices, and field sensors.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards (e.g., CSA, UL, NFPA, IEC).
• Collaborate with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration across systems.
