Job Description Job Description Electronic / Mechanical Assembler (SMT) Job Summary Performs complex mechanical and electronic assembly of components, sub-assemblies, circuit boards, and sheet metal enclosures. Works from drawings, schematics, and work instructions while ensuring quality and IPC-A-610 compliance. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electronic assemblies (chassis, racks, enclosures) Operate SMT machines and perform component placement with correct polarity Perform hand soldering, wire harnessing, and cabling Conduct go/no-go testing and document results Set up and use test equipment and hand tools Perform repair/rework as needed and follow ESD procedures Required Skills SMT machine operation Component polarity knowledge Read schematics and drawings IPC-A-610 standards Strong communication skills Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Experience with IPC-A-610 and SMT circuit board assembly Ability to use hand tools and electronic test equipment Siemens or...
