Sr Engineer - Oracle EPBCS

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer Oracle EPM Planning (EPBCS), you will design, configure, and deliver planning solutions across Capex, Opex, Workforce/Headcount, and Long-Range Planning. You will work hands-on to build forecasting and budgeting models, partner with finance teams to align processes, and support integrations across ERP and EPM applications.

What You Will Do:

• Configure EPBCS applications for Capex, Opex, Workforce/Headcount, and Long-Range Planning.
• Design and implement calculation rules, forms, and driver-based models to support forecasting and budgeting cycles.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to translate planning requirements into technical solutions and templates.
• Build and maintain key project artifacts: Configuration documents, design specs, test scripts.
• Support integrations with ERP and EPM systems (FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, EPRCS) through Data Management and OIC.
• Ensure delivery quality across development, testing, documentation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Provide production support for planning applications, ensuring performance, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with global teams, sharing knowledge and contributing to reusable design patterns.

What You Will Bring:

• 57 years of Oracle EPM experience with at least 3+ years in EPBCS/Planning Cloud.
• Hands-on experience configuring Capex, Opex, Workforce/Headcount, or Long-Range Planning modules.
• Strong skills in calculation rules, forms, Smart View, and planning templates.
• Good understanding of finance planning cycles (AOP, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, monthly/quarterly forecasts).
• Familiarity with ERP/EPM integration flows and data management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
• Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to support business stakeholders effectively.

Must Have Skills:

• Oracle EPM,
• Financial Planning

Nice-to-Have:

• Oracle Certifications in Planning and Budgeting Cloud (EPBCS).
• Exposure to predictive planning, scenario modeling, and narrative reporting.
• Scripting knowledge (Groovy, SQL) for advanced rules and automation.
• Experience working with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and CI/CD practices.
