Job Location: Ahmedabad

Position: Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager – Indirect Purchase

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the procurement and contract process for indirect materials, services, and supplies, including capex purchase, engineering parts, MRO, consumables, IT equipment, facilities management, annual service and agreement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate procurement processes including sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, vendor development/management and P2P cycle.
  • Release PO, follow up for the delivery, liaison with Freight forwarder and customs agents, track the shipment until delivered to store.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and promote sustainable sourcing.
  • Have global market knowledge & gather market analysis and commodity information to support strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with internal departments to understand their needs and ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Work closely with legal teams during supplier contract negotiations/finalization.
  • Track supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for materials to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Monitor stock movement and usage trends and take proactive measures to adjust orders as necessary.
  • Spend analysis and categorization of spend on monthly basis.
  • Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA mm module.
