The Senior Scientist I leads complex research and development initiatives to create innovative products, processes, and technologies. This role applies advanced scientific principles, design of experiments, and project management discipline to drive solutions from concept through commercialization. The position provides technical leadership, mentors colleagues, and collaborates cross‑functionally to support business, customer, and operational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and lead large-scale R&D projects using project management and Stage‑Gate discipline.
Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis to guide development decisions.
Generate innovative product, process, or method concepts within area of technical expertise.
Translate structure–property–performance relationships into viable technical solutions.
