Job Description
The Sr. Formulation Technician will play a crucial role in biotech applications by formulating buffers and reagents ranging from 100 µL to 2,000 L scale in a clean manufacturing environment. The position involves isolating and diluting nucleic acids, performing quality control testing, and actively participating in process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
+ Formulate buffers and other reagents for biotech applications at various scales.
+ Lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds with appropriate PPE.
+ Isolate and dilute nucleic acids using pipetting and spectrophotometric techniques.
+ Conduct quality control testing on buffers and nucleic acids using various techniques.
+ Troubleshoot and record manufacturing and quality control activities.
+ Revise and edit manufacturing protocols; contribute to protocol development for new products.
