The Sr. GPO Value Analyst is responsible for ensuring Unified captures the full financial and operational value of GPO and supplier contracts. This role focuses on GPO compliance, pricing accuracy, rebate opportunity tracking, and actionable reporting that supports clinical alignment and enterprise savings. The analyst partners with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and clinical leaders to drive execution across a fast-paced, multi-site organization.
This role is best suited for someone with healthcare supply chain analytics experience who can manage GPO program mechanics, identify pricing and rebate leakage, and communicate findings in a way that drives action across markets and care centers in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
ResponsibilitiesGPO Contract & Program Management
Actively manage GPO contract tiers, eligibility, and compliance to ensure the organization receives optimal pricing and benefits.Analyze contract changes, new contract offerings, and category updates to assess operational or financial impact.Maintain documentation on GPO programs, incentives, rebates, and participation requirements.Identify underutilization or missed contract value and recommend corrective actions.Coordinate with internal teams to implement new GPO contracts and support product conversions or standardization efforts.Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, analyze, and validate data related to purchasing, utilization, pricing, vendor spend, and contract performance.Translate data into actionable insights regarding savings opportunities, contract utilization, and value outcomes.Use data to identify cost-saving initiatives, rebate opportunities, and supply chain efficiency improvements and provide recommendations to senior and executive leadership.Support financial teams by forecasting savings, rebate revenue, and key performance indicators.Develop executive-ready summaries highlighting opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Support vendor and GPO interactions related to data validation, pricing accuracy, and performance tracking (non-negotiation role).Support product evaluations and sourcing decisions by compiling value analyses, pricing comparisons, and operational impacts.Track vendor performance and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.
Operational Support & Process Optimization
Assist in implementing supply chain and procurement process improvements related to GPO contracts and clinical product utilization.Support clinical teams with product inquiries, substitution guidance, and sourcing options aligned with GPO agreements.Support operational execution of sourcing and standardization initiatives by validating data, tracking progress, and measuring realized savings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Clinical Operations, and Legal to ensure accurate implementation of contracts and pricing.Support internal committees or value analysis teams with analytical insights and product research.Provide education and communication regarding new or updated GPO programs.Support Market leaders and care centers with data-driven guidance related to product selection, utilization, and contract alignment. QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related fields required.Experience:
5–8+ years preferred in healthcare supply chain analytics, GPO operations, value analysis, procurement analytics, or a related role.Demonstrated experience working with healthcare GPOs (e.g., Premier, Vizient, HPG, or others) preferred.Demonstrated ability to drive measurable cost savings and operational efficiency.Healthcare, life sciences, or multi-site service organization experience strongly preferred.Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, and basic modeling required.Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.Comfort working with large, messy datasets and turning them into actionable insights.Experience reporting from ERP or purchasing systems.We’re here for you—both personally and professionally.
