Sr Hardware Design Engineer

Overview

The Hardware Design Engineer is responsible for the specification, planning, detailed design, implementation and verification of electronics subsystems in product development or sustaining support projects.

• Focuses on specific electronic hardware design and documentation for customer products using standard methods and tools to provide products that are manufacturable and meet both the customers’ requirements and the Benchmark manufacturing support groups’ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics using Cadence OrCAD, Mentor VX Designer for custom circuit interfaces and signal controls for electrical system design.
• Develops electrical project proposal inputs and associated cost estimates that aligns with product budget.
