Description
• Setting the company safety strategy objectives.
• Initiate/ review the safety documents, plans, forms, SOPs, work instructions and checklists.
• Evaluate the safety management system implementation.
• Investigate, review and report the accidents to analyze the direct, root and underlying causes to taking proactive actions/decisions to prevent accidents reoccurrence and mitigate the workplace risks.
• Put the HSE team KPI.
• Manage the HSE team, monitoring their daily duties and measuring their performance.
• Ensure following the company's escalation protocol.
• Maintain detailed records of all safety-related communications, including recommendations, warnings, and incidents.
• Educate and empower the workers about safety protocols, encouraging them to report unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
• Conduct audits, inspections and report the unsafe actions / conditions with adequate tracking system aligned with the department heads, to take the necessary corrective actions.
• Reviewing tender documents for HSE issues and proposed budgets.
• Liaise with compliance head to match contractual guidelines activities inside warehouses and yards.
• Work with Administration to apply sanitation policy throughout port facilities
Minimum requirements
• 10 years of experience in the same field.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor of faculty of engineering or science.
• Master or Diploma in the field of occupational health and safety.
