Sr. IT Sourcing Associate - Supply Chain (IT Procurement)

Title: Sr. IT Sourcing Associate - Supply Chain (IT Procurement) Location: Washington, DC (Remote) Type: Contract Job Description: We're looking for a high-performing Senior Sourcing Associate with strong experience in IT and Professional Services procurement to lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives. This role sits on the purchasing side of Professional Services, Software Renewals, and SaaS, and requires someone who can independently manage sourcing, contracts, and supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing, RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ), contract negotiations, and supplier management • Manage 10-13 active sourcing transactions while balancing workload and timelines • Partner closely with business stakeholders, procurement, legal, and risk teams • Negotiate complex IT and Professional Services contracts (cloud services like AWS included) • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable federal procurement requirements • Manage renewals, resolve contract/invoice issues, and maintain documentation in SAP Ariba What We're Looking For: • 5-9 years of experience in IT Procurement / Strategic Sourcing • Strong experience with Professional Services, Software, and SaaS purchasing • Proven ability to run RFx processes independently and lead contract negotiations • Excellent critical thinking, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (must-have) • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Adobe • Team-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently Nice to Have: • Contracting certifications such as NCMA
