Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Java-based applications for market connectivity and eTrading platforms
- Work on low-latency, high-throughput systems connecting to external venues, exchanges, and brokers
- Collaborate closely with trading, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver robust connectivity solutions
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in system improvements
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and best practices
Key Skills / Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development within financial services
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on eTrading systems
- At least 3 years of experience in Market Connectivity (exchange connectivity, FIX, gateways, adapters, etc.)
- Strong understanding of electronic trading workflows and market microstructure
