Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, Web Services, SOAP Services and other backend technologies.
• Design and develop microservices - APIs, Spring Batch jobs and Kafka messaging and topics; deploy, configure, and manage application servers in enterprise environments.
• Utilize Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and database schema design with SQL/NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and transaction management.
• Implement authentication/authorization mechanisms with Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2 to protect APIs and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions following agile practices.
• Manage end-to-end deployment processes across IST, UAT, and Production environments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
• Design, develop, and secure RESTful APIs using Spring MVC, including exception handling, validation, and API testing tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, integration testing) to ensure quality and smooth deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Design Patterns and development of Microservices - APIs, Spring Batch jobs and Kafka messaging
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and managing application servers in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2
• Proficient in RESTful API design and testing
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing
