Sr. Java Full Stack Developer

Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Web Applications Developer (Java Full Stack) to join our global IT development and operations team. In this role, you will develop and support ERP systems, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements to our ERP platform, focusing on finance and procurement application processes. You will work closely with global IT and business teams to design and develop enterprise solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Your expertise in Java/J2EE and front end development, and a good understanding of Enterprise business processes related to Finance and Procurement will be a plus. This will help ensure delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing business applications that meets Momentive’s global needs and quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:

Development, and implement Java applications and webservices interfaces using Java, JSP, Springboot, SQL/RDBMS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS for development of ERP system/Production Planning, Quality modules into our web applications

Conduct user needs assessments, provide training, and offer guidance/consultation to promote user adoption of new technologies and applications

Collaborate with team members to analyze and implement complex changes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards

Stay up-to-date with the latest development approaches and technologies, and integrate them into your work to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our development processes

Play an active role in application modernization and transformation efforts, ensuring seamless business operations and continuous improvement

Independently design code and test major features, demonstrating exceptional debugging and troubleshooting abilities

Collaborate effectively with team members to understand business problems and successfully implement changes

Follow agile IT processes, collaborating closely with the business to swiftly

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering, or a related field

Overall, of 7-10 years of experience in both Java and front-end technical development

Hands-on technical skills of the technology stack including Java, JSP, Spring boot, SQL/RDBMS, UI technologies, JS, CSS, HTML and Tomcat server

Proficiency in UI Tech - HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap is required

Excellent core Java and J2EE skills coupled with expertise in Object Oriented design and knowledge of design patterns, Webservices/APIS (REST/SOAP)

Ability to comprehend business processes and develop technical solutions

Result-driven with a positive attitude - adaptable, flexible, and resourceful.

Hands-on experience of min 3-5 java application development as Java Full Stack, deployment, hosting and application design

Expertise in developing web and mobile responsive applications, optimizing performance, and configuring servers and threads

Broad understanding of web and digital technologies, adept at troubleshooting and problem-solving, and capable of mentoring team members

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Any Certification in Java application development, Database or front-end technologies is preferred

Experience working in a global organization with diverse technologies

Preferable work experience in Finance/Supply Chain - Procurement would be a plus
