Sr. Lead Engineering Manager - Geotech (Mumbai)

Manage geotechnical and geological analyses, manage staff and supporting sub-consultants, conduct research, perform preliminary geological reconnaissance, geotechnical and geological studies, review testing results, and develop design recommendations.Qualifications-M. Tech in Geotechnical Engineering-Minimum 15-20 years total experience and some year experience in the execution of similar type of work.-Experience as lead in delivering complex Geotech design and leading Geotech team with deep understanding of the Geotech design software.-Experience in Bridge projects are necessary.Responsibilities-Typical job duties include – performing geotechnical analysis and assessing construction site coordination, planning and conducting geotechnical exploration, analyzing geotechnical findings, developing drawings and specifications for construction projects, and providing direction to the technical team during the inspection process.-Experience in preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative reports for foundations of bridge structures using IRC, IRS, IS and other relevant international codes.-Well versed with all geotechnical designs and software like AutoCAD, Geostudio,Wallap, Plaxis, Capwap, FB Multipier, Geo 5, MSEW, Rock Science’s RS, Swedge, Dips etc.-Good knowledge of ground improvement techniques and its applicability.-Knowledge / understanding of bid / tender documents.-The job description also entails going beyond construction role and dealing with matters like geological hazards such as landslides, soil erosion, earthquakes and other extreme conditions.-Co-ordinate with site/construction team, client, approver and consultant.
