You’ll take ownership of complex negotiations, guide regulatory strategy, and influence business‑critical decisions—all while ensuring smart risk management and operational excellence. What You Will Lead High‑Impact Contract Negotiation & Structuring Be the architect behind major commercial agreements: Physical energy supply contracts (natural gas & electricity) Energy attributes & services (CELs, capacity, guarantees of origin, transport & distribution agreements) Financial derivatives & hedging deals (ISDA, NAESB, risk management instruments) Credit documentation (CSAs, guarantees, letters of credit) Commercial agreements with suppliers & clients (NDAs, LOIs, MOUs) Procurement contracts, partnerships, brokerage agreements Legal documentation related to M&A activities Your expertise will directly influence margin protection, customer value, and long‑term commercial viability. Regulatory Insight & Protection Strategy You will be the eyes and ears of the business in a shifting regulatory landscape. Monitor, interpret, and translate regulatory changes into business actions Guide implementation of new requirements Develop and execute protection strategies when regulations shift Your foresight will help the business stay compliant, resilient, and commercially competitive. Commercial Dispute Strategy Lead the legal response to disputes and high‑stakes events: Defaults, waivers, covenants, enforcement actions Arbitration and litigation strategy Risk and impact assessment (financial, reputational, operational) Your approach will focus on smart, commercially driven solutions.
