An employer in the Greater Seattle Washington area is looking for a Hybrid Senior Systems Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of critical infrastructure systems and SaaS platforms. This role includes managing infrastructure lifecycles—particularly for compute, storage, and VMware—and executing infrastructure lifts and end-of-life transitions. The engineer will support large-scale upgrades across global environments and lead technical transformations including on-prem to cloud migrations with an emphasis on automation. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling tickets and incidents related to infrastructure outages or lifecycle transitions, building and deploying scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design robust system architectures.
