Overview

The Senior Manager – Holistic Cost Management supports PepsiCo India’s enterprise-wide cost transformation agenda by driving analytics, systems integration, and process improvement initiatives that enhance financial transparency, productivity, and structural efficiency. This role translates cost strategy into actionable programs, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and local business priorities.


Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of PepsiCo India’s cost strategy and transformation roadmap, ensuring delivery of key cost optimization and productivity milestones.
  • Lead financial and operational analyses to identify cost drivers, efficiency opportunities, and performance improvement areas across functions.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to integrate cost data from multiple systems (SAP, B2B, BI tools) into unified reporting and visualization dashboards.
  • Develop predictive cost and margin analytics, leveraging AI, data modeling, and scenario planning to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Support automation and process digitization initiatives, working with IT teams to streamline workflows and improve cost visibility.
  • Monitor performance against key cost KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for course correction.
  • Partner with business units to evaluate and track savings initiatives, ensuring realization of benefits through governance and measurement frameworks.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining cost governance processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and alignment with financial policies.
  • Contribute to sustainability-linked cost programs, aligning operational efficiency with energy reduction and responsible sourcing goals.
  • Prepare executive reports and dashboards for leadership review, summarizing trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support cross-functional transformation projects as part of the broader Strategy & Transformation team, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Manage external partners and consultants supporting cost analytics, benchmarking, or technology deployment.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and build internal capability in financial analytics and productivity measurement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within Finance and Operations teams.
  • Act as a change champion, promoting efficiency, transparency, and digital maturity across cost management processes.

  • Qualifications

  • Proven analytical skills in cost modeling, data visualization, and process improvement.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SAP (FI/CO), Power BI/Tableau, and advanced Excel or Python for analytics.
  • Exposure to automation tools or process digitization initiatives preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple initiatives.
