Overview

:

Lead and manage logistics operations across the Americas region, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods. Drive strategic initiatives, optimize multimodal networks, act as key liaison between Logistics and Customer Experience, Commercial, S&OP, and Procurement teams to ensure alignment of goals and seamless service delivery, and external partners to achieve high service levels and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

'• Lead regional logistics teams and operations across the Americas
• Oversee shipment execution and issue resolution across all transportation modes
• Manage Freight Forwarder and 3PL relationships and performance
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards
• Develop and monitor KPIs and scorecards
• Drive process improvements and cost optimization
• Manage logistics budgets and freight forecasts
• Support audits, certifications, and contingency planning
• Conduct performance reviews and employee development planning

Qualifications:

Required: 

'• Strategic thinking and regional logistics planning
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of customs, trade, and safety regulations
• Experience with inventory and terminal/warehouse operations
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance
• Familiarity with SOX, ISO, and Dangerous Goods compliance

Desireable: 

'• Six Sigma, LEAN, or other continuous improvement certifications
• Experience in chemical industry logistics
• Knowledge of railcar fleet management and technical specifications
• Vendor negotiation and contract management experience
• Exposure to contingency planning (strikes, embargos, service interruptions)
