Sr. Manufacturing Controls Development Engineer, Material Flow

What to Expect As part of theMaterial Flow Automation Team, you willarchitect control systemsand program production equipment that power Tesla's factories to scale innovation globally, accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. In this role you will design and develop automation systems for Tesla's manufacturing equipment, including and not limited toroller tables, turn tables, Lifters, Stacker Cranes, robotics systems, automated cells, and automated mobile robots along with SCADA integration. What You'll Do Program and debug PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, safety devices, remote IO, controllers and robotics Design control system architectures, electrical schematics, and safety concepts Develop automated SCADA processes to optimize cycle time, yield, and equipment availability, along with DBs, SQL, and MQTT connections.
