DUTIES

The Senior Merchandise Planner partners with the Buyers and Merchandise Planning and Analytics Manager to maximize sales, profitability and returns on inventory of a given area of business through the development and implementation of a strategy, analysis and appropriate reaction to sales trend. Plans, forecasts, and replenishes merchandise for stores.

Works under the general supervision of the Merchandise Planning and Analytics Manager to provide support and analyze financial performance using tools in the ERP system to ensure established goals are being met and takes appropriate corrective action when necessary. 

Operates independently within the framework of CSC policies, procedures, and regulations. Exercises independent judgment and approach in routine and non-routine situations.
