Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure with a strong focus on security and cloud integration.
  • Lead network design initiatives and document architecture using standard tools and methodologies.
  • Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting support for complex LAN/WAN alerts and network incidents.
  • Configure and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.
  • Support firewall and security initiatives including next‑generation firewall platforms, Zero Trust concepts, and secure access solutions.
  • Implement and support SD‑WAN solutions, including integration with existing enterprise networks.
  • Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
  • Monitor performance, system availability, reliability, and capacity planning.
  • Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation and network standards.
  • Work within established change and configuration management policies.
  • Collaborate with security teams, engineering leadership, and vendors on network and security initiatives.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours or weekend support as required.
  • Conduct technical knowledge sharing and training sessions for internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-8 years of domain experience, CCNP certified.
  • Possess excellent network troubleshooting skills. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time.
  • Must be able to clearly interact with the customer, understand the requirements and communicate with the offshore team. Must be able to participate and represent the team in change and incident management meetings.
  • Experience with SDWAN – Silver Peak preferred.
  • Experience with Next Gen Firewalls – Cisco Firepower preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting routing loops.
  • Troubleshoot asymmetric routing & STP loop issues.
  • Implementation of operational changes & coordination with project team for project related changes.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting LAN switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting quality of service.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting TCP/IP protocol suite.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting network security – IPSec/SSL VPN/Cisco AnyConnect, AAA architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1x.
  • Cisco Catalyst & Nexus 9K/7K series of switches.
  • Configuring/troubleshooting of application load balancers.
  • Experience with firewall cloud services – Zscaler preferred.
  • Experience with Data Center – Nexus environment (ACI preferred).
  • Working on all applications such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc.
  • Analyzing the outputs of all the tools and making recommendations – example: High CPU utilization on core device at data center.
  • AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud experience is considered a plus.
  • Citrix NetScaler load balancer, Cisco FTD (FW), Aruba SD‑WAN, and Azure Cloud all considered a plus for experience.
  • Proven team player.
  • Ability to interact with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Must be a resourceful self‑starter.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • CCNP Certification Required.
  • BA Degree / B.S. Degree.
  • Preferred (Optional):
    • Experience working in large, global enterprise environments supporting thousands of users.
    • Strong background in network architecture documentation and design governance.

Additional Details

The base range for this contract position is $40 - $50 / per hour , depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
