Sr. Network Engineer
Position type: Permanent
Duration: Fulltime
Location: District of Columbia, US
As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will:
AARP is in search of a resource with expertise in network engineering (as defined below) for 40 hours per week. No travel or in-person work is required; the resource can perform their duties 100% remotely. US-based resource preferred. Resource must be available between 8a and 5p ET (with 1 hour for lunch) or similar (e.g., 7:30a-4:30p, 8:30a-5:30p). Fixed rate, monthly billing (in arrears). Resource to begin as soon as possible through December 31, 2025.
Assist with the roll-out of new SD-WAN, access point, and UPS hardware in conjunction with delivery of new Direct Internet Access (DIA) circuits to AARP’s remote offices (~68 locations).Coordinate with on-site personnel (at AARP’s National Headquarters (NHQ)) to locate har...
